A 3D anniversary

Good Day

When I saw the inspiration photo at the Outlawz, my first thought went to my 3D collection. This is my favourite technique, but it is very time consuming. My husband and I also celebrate 16 years of knowing each other. My striped paper is from Craft Work Cards' vintage rose, the printed paper is from Toga and the 3D flowers is from Joy Craft. The deep pink is textured handmade paper from my stash. Die-cut - Fleur de Lis Rectangles from Spellbinders;

In love

Good Morning

I had to steal time this morning to have some me time. It has been a hectic few weeks and in another three weeks we will have our winter break for three weeks, although it is also fully scheduled with my boys' sport.

I've played with my new Nellie Snellen Die-cut. I've finally found one in South Africa. I also added some Sizzix die-cuts. The designer paper is from Spring Drop by First Edition and all the rest is from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
Tuesday Morning Sketches #199 - Sketch
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour Challenge 21/5 with the twist of wings
Crafty Ribbon #46 - Anything goes with ribbon
365 Cards #140 - Frame-able

Spring brings new life

Tuesday Morning Sketches
 Dynamic Duos Birthday celebrations

My project with a Nana Vic image

Good Day

I'm between appointments and thought I'll share with you this project I made. The images has been on my table for a while now, since it is the third digi from CDAC's progressive freebie challenge. This one is from Nana Vic and it is so sweet. I just love the little baby folded in the leaves. I also used a bit of different colour combo as the usual pink or blue. My DP is from Garden Party from Dovecrafts and the plain paper is from my stash. I used Sizzix and Spellbinder die-cuts and a little corner brad and to enhance the olive green a bit, a small flower button.

Challenges I'm joining:
CDAC progressive Challenge - cdacpcnv
Tuesday Morning Sketches #198 - Sketch
Dynamic Duos One year celebrations - I used colour combo #23
Digistamp4Joy #67 - Spring has sprung
Crafts and Me #133 - Use adigi

Thank you and have a fantastic day. I'll be a bit on the road today.

A forever kiss in the sunset

A die for a sketch
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour with the twist of lace

 Digi from digi Darla
Close-up of the lace and ribbon bouquet

Good Day

There is always something new in blogland....this time a black & white wedding card. My ever first, though I have to admit it is kind of modern since black and white is a colour often used lately for wedding with maybe purple. Well, here is my edition. I decided to do something differently with the normal lace and ribbon. I decided to make part of my bouquet. I saw something like it in the shop today when I went searching for the black lace. A Die For A Sketch is also celebrating their first year in Bloglang with a big bloghop.
The digi is from Digi Darla and it has been on my desk for a couple of weeks now. I used a white card stock decorated with some glittered swirls and silver from my stash. The outer die-cut is from Marianne's design and the inner die-cut is from 2 die 4. I've also used a Marianne's design swirl in black & silver. The rhinestones are from my stash as well as the peel-offs.

Challenges I'm joining:
A Die for a Sketch #12 - Sketch
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour Challenge with twist of adding lace.
Charisma Cardz #18 - Black, white + silver
Digi Darla's #16 - Round and Round
The Sisterhood of Crafters: April showers.......bring up the wedding season
Penny's Paper-craft #126 - Die-cuts or punches
Crafty Creations #221- Something old ( Marianne's design die-cuts), something new ( Black lace)

I'm having fun

Good Day

Another post for this Friday evening, with some of my favourite challenges. I love the black and white with a splash of colour, not that I am always very successful with it. This time however it suited the Freebie from Kenny K for May. You have a really teenager feeling with these colours. This is also a Facebook contest for Kenny K. Just love their images. I have found a piece of paper in the magenta colour and used my locking loops from Spellbinders for the frame and I have a Fiskar hand punch for the music notes.

Challenges:
Kenny K Facebook Freebie contest
Tuesday Morning Sketches #196 - Sketch
The Play Date CafĂ©  - Colour Splash B&W with a dash of magenta
Stampin' for the weekend - Die-cuts/punches
Jellypark Challenges - It's a girly girl

Good Day

It is the first Friday of the month and there are a lot of freebies available on the net. This time I used Digistamp4Joy's freebie for May. With spring breaking, in the northern hemisphere, it seems quite appropriate to have some tulips in a basket for a special lady, like a Mother. My papers are from the Hideaway stack from First Edition. The sentiment is from Desert Diva. The ribbon and button are from my stash. The die-cut is from Spellbinder. I love to mix and match designer paper with card stock.
